Hi Teddy!

Here you are at 18 weeks exactly when me, your daddy and big sister found out you were a boy! I was convinced you were a girl all along and so did you daddy but we’re elated you are exactly who you are supposed to be. Your big sister took the news a little harder. Our sweet girl cried and cried as she wanted a little sister but I’m so happy to see her come around and embrace our lil man.

I’m not going to lie, it will be a big change for me as all of my friends mostly have little girls so we’ll take it one day at a time. Right now I have visions of blue, red and orange for your nursery running through my head and the shopping. Oh how mama is going to dress you in cutest pants and jackets for as long as you’ll let me. Because if you will be anything like your sister, those days are numbered.

I’m so excited to see you grow, not too fast though please, thank you! I can’t wait to meet your future wife. I can’t wait to see what type of man you are going to be. I have to stop myself, though, because I keep envisioning who you will be, but that is not my job. My job is to make sure you are safe and healthy and build a solid foundation so you can be the man God wants you to be.

But most of all I cannot wait to meet you. Soon…very soon.
